Alexander Glätzle,

Dr. Alexander Glätzle, CEO and co-founder of planqc, is working on building the first German quantum computer based on neutral atoms. The theoretical quantum physicist and entrepreneur served as a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Oxford and at the Center for Quantum Technologies in Singapore, where he researched ultracold atoms in relation to quantum annealing and quantum computers. In 2018, he left academia and transitioned to a leading European consulting firm, where he was part of the team for quantum technologies and applied blockchain.

Dr. Glätzle is the creative mind behind planqc's neutral atom quantum computers. His goal is to address and solve billion-dollar problems with quantum computers 'Made in Europe' and to bridge the gap between cutting-edge research and practical application across various industries.

Carsten Kraus developed his first innovation as a teenager: a new core structure for programming languages that was 70 times faster than Atari's — and was shipped with 700,000 computers. Nina Anika Klotz is an editor at Gründerszene. She studied communication science, politics and modern German literature at the LMU in Munich and then worked for many years as a freelance journalist for various business media, trade and consumer magazines. She has written about large and small companies, young and not-so-young start-ups. At Gründerszene, she reports on topics that move the start-up world - even if they are unpleasant and uncomfortable. Since 2017, Schimroszik has focussed exclusively on technology, telecommunications and start-up topics. After five years at Reuters, she moved to ‘Handelsblatt’ in Berlin as a technology correspondent, where she provides insights into the German start-up scene. In addition to her journalistic work, Schimroszik is the author of the books ‘Silicon Valley in Berlin’ and ‘Turning Setbacks into Victories’.
